A single barrel may take three times longer to turn than one made from traditional resin, driving costs upward before finishing begins.
Aesthetically, the weave pattern itself has become a design language. The classic twill weave produces a chevron motif that signals technical sophistication without ostentation. Some makers now experiment with unidirectional layups or randomised forged carbon for textures that break from the expected grid.
